Without funds raised during the 2009 and 2010 auctions, the chimpanzees would not have a cozy greenhouse during winter months or 2-acres of freedom on Young's Hill.
The Out of the Box 2011 Fund-a-Need project is perhaps our most important yet - an on-site medical clinic.
We have an aging population and the chimps will likely have more need for veterinary care in the coming years.
A clinic attached to the chimp house will allow us to provide top-quality care for the Cle Elum Seven chimpanzees without moving them from their home for both preventative and emergency exams.
Auction attendees had the opportunity to make this important project a reality by raising their paddle for tax-deductible donations during the Fund-a-Need portion of the auction.
Out of town supporters can gave towards this project through our online auction October 7-9th.
