Yay! Being a personal fan of occasional acidophilus use, I had to send some the chimps' way :) Acidophilus is also good (for humans at least) when you get a little canker sore in your mouth. Just a little tip from an old boss who was an MD. The powder directly on the spot heals it up in no time.

Who doesn't need their daily multi-vitamin?

The acidophilus is good for the chimps (all primates) digestive systems, adds good bacteria to the system. As a caregiver (who cleans up after the chimps) I do appreciate a digestive system that is not upset, if you know what I mean. And the chimps feel better overall when their tummies are not up set and everything is working properly.
