Very fine primates indeed! Looking for the tutu, troll doll and french beret…….;-) Hope you had a fabulous time Margaret and Karen (as if you couldn’t!) and that traveling over Snoqualmie pass wasn’t too bad. Blow kisses to the chimps and hug the staff for us!
Those are some pretty cute chimps if you ask me…. :) I’m sure you are having a great time at the sanctuary…so nice to see your smiling faces, Karen & Margaret! Thanks for the great picture of our fellow CCC’s, Sarah.
How thoughtful that you provide the chimps with glasses!!! And doing chores….is that really fair in a sanctuary!
It’s great to see Margaret and Karen finally in the kitchen, it’s been a long haul and finally we can get back over the mountains. See you soon!!!
Cindy
I’d love to get on the schedule and come to help and get to sneak a peek at the chimps. I live in Kirkland. Would anyone want to team up to drive over together? It is not really that far away but would be nice to have the company of a fellow chimp lover.
Is the forum a better place to bring up this topic?
what, no audio!?! we wanna hear their pant-hooting and breathy laughs too, c’mon! ..ha!
hi Margaret & Karen ~ nice to see your smiling faces! wish we were there with you!
:)
It was certainly wonderful to be back over the mountains to the sanctuary. It was a sunny day at Cle Elum yesterday and the chimpanzees spent a lot of time lounging in the sun coming through the windows. Then Patty brought a fabulous baked pasta dish for their dinner with cherry tomatoes and vegan hot dogs. There were a bunch of happy chimps with that! There is no other kitchen in the world that we would rather work in. What a trip to be on the blog. Karen and I were talking about it on the drive home this morning and K remarked that probably the CCC’s were disappointed….preferring to see the truly beautiful chimpanzees! We saw the mirror all installed. We even observed jamie polishing it with a cloth.
What a great community we have here.
Don’t be silly! We loved seeing the photo of you two!! After all, you’re also fellow primates that we all love!
Hi all,
What a treat I had today! I’ve been away from the computer and so enjoyed all the blogs and pictures. They were all favorites but I really liked the picture of all the chimps strutting in front of the mirror! Thank you all for your dedication and hard work.
Time for my afternoon nap.
